The Assam Flood Crisis continues to affect thousands of families across the state, although the overall situation has shown slight improvement. According to the latest update released by the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), the death toll has risen to 66, while over 6.54 lakh people remain affected by floods across six districts. According to ASDMA, 274 relief camps and relief distribution centres are currently operational, providing shelter, food, drinking water, and medical assistance to displaced families.Nearly 18,902 people are staying in these relief camps after being evacuated from inundated villages.
