A 21-year-old design student was allegedly chased and harassed by two motorcycle-borne men before being pushed off her scooty near Panchsheel Park Metro Station in South Delhi. She alleged that their motorcycle hit her two-wheeler, causing her to lose control and fall.Woman Skidded 100-150 Metres After FallThe impact allegedly caused Kashyap to fall onto the road. According to her complaint, she skidded for approximately 100 to 150 metres on a stretch covered with stones, gravel and dust.She suffered injuries to her face, arms and legs. Reports said she sustained deep cuts and heavy bleeding and was later advised further treatment, including plastic surgery.Two people travelling on another scooter reportedly stopped to help her. A medical response was arranged and she was taken to Max Hospital in Saket. She was later shifted to another hospital in Noida before travelling to her hometown for further treatment.What Has Delhi Police Said?Delhi Police received a PCR call regarding the incident at around 1 am on September 12. When officers reached the location, the woman had already been taken to hospital.Police subsequently contacted her and began trying to establish the sequence of events. The woman’s cousin also visited the police station on September 14 and was shown available CCTV footage, but she could not identify the woman or the alleged suspects in the footage.A complaint was later submitted through a lawyer on September 15. Police have since registered a case and are examining CCTV footage from the surrounding areas.Are the Two Bikers Identified?The two men allegedly involved in the incident have not yet been identified.Police said CCTV footage from and around the reported location is being examined. However, investigators have so far not found footage that clearly captures the woman or the alleged accused at the exact location.Police are continuing efforts to verify the woman’s account and establish the complete sequence of events.What Is the Status of the Case?The incident is currently under investigation.
