The landslide blocked traffic for nearly an hour before authorities removed the debris and restored vehicle movement.Many commuters faced long delays. A local resident, Karan Sharma, said he was taking a patient to Indira Gandhi Medical College but could not reach the hospital on time because the road was blocked.Another commuter, Vijay Sharma, said he remained stuck in traffic for almost an hour due to the landslide.Heavy Rain Affects Entire Himachal PradeshAccording to the Himachal Pradesh State Disaster Management Authority (HPSDMA), heavy rainfall Himachal has affected almost every district in the state. Flash floods also affected Chamba town, while rainwater entered several houses in the Sultanpur area, damaging boundary walls.Disaster response teams also rescued five people who were stranded in the Manimahesh area.IMD Issues Fresh Weather AlertThe Himachal Pradesh weather department has warned that heavy rainfall is likely to continue for the next three days.
