The first T20I of the two-match series between India and Ireland is scheduled to take place today, Friday, June 26, 2026, at the Stormont Cricket Ground (Civil Service Cricket Club) in Belfast, with live telecast available on the Sony Sports Network and live streaming on Sony LIV starting at 6:00 PM IST (3:00 PM local time). This highly anticipated encounter marks a new chapter for both teams, featuring Shreyas Iyer taking over the Indian T20I captaincy and Lorcan Tucker stepping up as Ireland's full-time skipper.Fresh off defending their T20 World Cup title earlier this year, a new-look Indian squad lands in Belfast for a short, high-stakes assignment before their full-fledged tour of England. The biggest narrative surrounding the match is the potential international debut of 15-year-old teenage batting sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who could become the youngest Indian ever to play international cricket, surpassing Sachin Tendulkar's long-standing record.Match Details & Broadcast GuideMetricDetailsMatchIreland vs India, 1st T20IDateFriday, June 26, 2026Time6:00 PM IST / 3:00 PM Local / 2:00 PM GMTVenueStormont Cricket Ground (Civil Service Cricket Club), BelfastTV Channel (India)Sony Sports NetworkLive Streaming (India)Sony LIVWin ProbabilityIndia: 94.3%Key Leadership UpdatesShreyas Iyer LeadsNew India CaptainTakes the T20I captaincy reins from Suryakumar Yadav.
