Why doing PG after MBBS is a better option?

Though you can start your practice right after MBBS, it is advisable to study further and specialize in a particular fieldto be assured of a more fulfilling career. There are many Medical PG Courses in India to choose from, but you need to select a field that matches your interests and aspirations.
You have the option to acquire an MD or MS degree, for which the course duration is three years. You could also opt for a diploma, which is shorter and takes only two years to complete. You also have the option of a DNB (Diplomate of National Board) degree, which takes three years. You will have to first clear a few common entrance exams like NEET PG, AIMS PG, JIPMER PG, and PGIMER to get a seat in one of the NEET PG Colleges.
