The petrol engine has a single cylinder, four-stroke, spark ignition, 395 cc displacement, and can reach a top speed of 45 km/h while producing 10 horsepower and 23 Nm of peak torque. This 3W has 12V electrical systems, a 12V, 50 AH battery, and a 12V wiper motor placed on the alternator flywheel. The diesel variant of the Humsafar has a kerb weight of 440 kg and a gross weight of 950 kg, while the petrol variation has a kerb weight of 450 kg and a gross weight of 1000 kg.
