All of your friends know that you don’t drink; you don’t like the booze and high feeling. But there is always this list of questions that they keep asking you and you are finally tired of answering them all. Here is the list of 9 questions that your friends and colleagues should stop a

9 annoying questions everyone who doesn't drink is tired of answering, so stop maybe

1. Why don’t you drink?

“It is simple. I just don’t like it, period. Some may have an ideology or have suffered an emotional trauma of seeing someone die because of excessive alcohol but not me. It’s just my character and you already know that. So stop this question please.”

2. Aren’t you man enough? Why do act like a boy?

“Just because I don’t drink, doesn’t mean that I’m not man enough and that all men who drink are real men. This is a clichéd comparison and I’m surprised that this still exists. Stop this for heaven’s sake as you look like a retired 60 year old officer when you ask it”.

3. This isn’t a sin, why not try it once?

“I don’t like the smell of it; first of all, if I drink because of your compulsion, I don’t feel like myself and so why should I risk it? You already know this, so why ask a million times?

4. Are you having a good time?

“Yes of course, and I don’t need a Carlsberg for to have a great night. I’m fine with my diet Coke instead.”

5. Can you drive the car? Can you take care of my possessions?

“Logically speaking, I am the one who has to do these, and I feel like was invited to the party to do just that. So stop asking this question as I feel like your personal bouncer.”

6. Why don’t spend some this Saturday night?

“On seeing all the stupid prizes of these cocktails and tequilas, why do you want me to drink? Neither will I be spending that ton of cash for you people so that you can get ridiculously drunk that night and like before, I have to be the one who’s got to drive.”

7. We have drinks in the function, are you fine with that?

“Yes I am, drinks are a part of every party and I have no difficulties in being the only teetotaler in the gang. Besides there will always be my favorite non-alcoholic drinks and as long as they are there, we’re clean.”

8. There is nothing specific for you, you are okay with that right?

“Absolutely not. What do you expect me to do? Sit and stare at others who enjoy their night with their tequilas? You better skip this question and not invite me to the party at all.”

9. Was it a rough night?

“I can’t get it, is it true that you forget about whatever happened the previous night or are you putting up a nice act? Out of all these questions, this is the most clichéd one, as you’d probably know what would’ve happened the previous night and don’t make me look like a kid among you.”
