Things that make us typical Indian middle class

IF YOU DO THESE 11 THINGS YOU'RE A TYPICAL INDIAN MIDDLE CLASS PERSON

  1. Processing you’re clothes into “pocchas”

Let’s be real that old jumper can totally be used to clean the floors, that stained shirt can be helpful in the kitchen, that shrunken t-shirt for cleaning windows. You get the point. Then throwing away those stray pieces of clothing is totally a waste.

  1. Buying things for the free stuff

Buying six packets of those really bland tasting biscuits for the plastic tiffin box is completely okay. Everyone likes tea but the free glass bowl is always a bonus so why not.

  1. Keeping the fancy crockery for the guests

Those new glasses are exclusively for the guests who visit once a year. Those pretty ice-cream bowls are only for the parties you’re going to host in the distant future or not. Using the plain steel glasses for dinner is fine. Low maintenance after all.

  1. Master polythene bag

Polythene bags are important in your house. They are to be stored in the master polythene bag.

  1. Taking extras for home

You take the extra ketchup, sugar, salt packets from cafes and restaurants. They do come in handy.

  1. The Shampoo has to be used till the last drop

The shampoo like all other rare commodities in the house has to be used till its last drop. Using water or cutting the bottle itself are handy tips.

  1. Protecting the “DABBA” with your life

If one lives with his/her mother it becomes essential to save the beloved Tupperware ‘DABBA’. Entry into the house and food depends on the arrival of these DABBAS after all.

  1. Toothpaste can never really be over

Toothpaste can never really be over. Just a little muscle power and you have enough for the go.

  1. Plastic Bottles are useful. ALWAYS.

Plastic soda bottles are always useful for storing water. Throwing them away is such a waste. Keeping them is just as good as recycling them.

  1. Keeping things wrapped in plastic

Wrapping things in plastic keeps them new. Works especially well for important things like the remote, the t. v, the fridge and so on.

  1. “DHANNIYA” is a must.

No shopping trip to the Sabjiwala is complete without free ”DHANNIYA”. It’s almost equivalent to our property rights.
