Peaceful, exhilarating, soothing, nourishing, these are some of the words that come to our mind when one says the word ‘Yoga’. The word Yoga is derived from the Sanskrit word “Yuj” which means to attach, join or harness. Although Yoga has its roots in ancient Hindu and Buddhist scriptures, it is widely practiced today as well. Various communities and organizations across the globe have attributed great importance to Yoga as its benefits are manifold. Yoga establishes a harmonious balance between the body as well as the soul i.e. it aids physical as well as spiritual well-being.
