Five Nights at Freddy's has put up new job ads: Steel Wool Studios, the company that made Security Breach, might drop hints about a VR version of the game coming soon.
Developer Steel Wool Studios may be working on a VR version of Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, according to new job listings. Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is the tenth game in the series. It is the follow-up to the 2019 VR game Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted. Even though the game has gotten mixed reviews, mostly because of technical problems, FNAF: Security Breach is better than the originals in many ways and is currently the most popular game in the series.
Since FNAF: Security Breach came out for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC in December of last year, Steel Wool Studios has been putting out regular updates to fix bugs, and make tweaks and improvements, and add back content that was cut from the game. Steel Wool Studios recently said that they are working on bringing the game to the Xbox One, but they haven't said when it will be out. The studio is also putting out a free FNAF: Security Breach DLC sometime next year, which will come out at the same time the game comes out on Xbox One.
Steel Wool Studios, the company that made Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, recently posted two job openings on its website. One was for a Senior Game Designer, and the other was for a Character Technical Director. In both job ads, it's interesting to see that Steel Wool Studios is looking for people with experience designing or making VR games for platforms like Oculus, HTC, and PSVR. But Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach isn't mentioned in the job listings, so it's possible that the candidate is working on a new or different title.
On the other hand, since Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted was a virtual reality (VR) game, it would make sense for Steel Wool Studios to make Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach a VR game as well. Even though the game's true ending seemed to end the story, it's also possible that the studio is working on a sequel to FNAF: Security Breach.
Still, the job postings do hint that the studio might be working on something related to VR. We don't know if that will be a VR version of Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach, a sequel, or a whole new game. Fans of the series will have to wait until the studio makes an official announcement to know for sure.
